Over the summer our district clarified the guidelines for parents, guardians and supporters to be able to volunteer in our school buildings.
This includes a two-part process:
1.Complete the CORI form.
2.Complete the SORI form.
It’s pretty easy – visit Mrs. Rapa at the school’s front desk with your state issued ID in hand. You will complete the CORI and SORI together on one form.
Any 5th grade families who want to get a jump on being ready to chaperone the nature’s classroom fieldtrip will also need to get fingerprinted. Your 5th grade teachers will have all the details. Please be sure to ask them about it!
LINK, Inc. needs YOU to help us accomplish so much for our students. Without qualified volunteers we have troubles hosting dances and family events, running our amazing Enrichment Programs, or getting the library books back on the shelves. Please take a few moments in these first few weeks of school to visit Mrs. Rapa and get your CORI/SORI completed!
Also please note, your CORI is good for 3 years. So if you haven’t done it in awhile… please make a plan to come and do it again! If you did it and are still in the window, you will update yours at the right time (for you) with the new CORI/SORI combination. Until then though, you are good to go!
